zines are defined as “most commonly a small circulation, non-commercial publication of original or appropriated texts and images. more broadly, the term encompasses any self-published work of minority interest.” according to wikipedia. (see entry)

this is quite possibly the most exciting part of this website for me. i’ve wanted to do zines, and had a couple in the works, for years now. i think i was partly barred by my own lack of confidence in my work. as i learn to let that fear go, i feel ready to send some of my stuff out into the world. i hope to publish a fiction zine on a quarterly basis and one-shot or special zines on a regular basis as the whim strikes. i’m also debating a general personal zine (or perzine) but that will depend on having enough material to fill such a thing regularly.

i’ll be releasing the zines in paper form, available by snail mail order form and eventually through paypal or some other shopping cart situation. i also plan on making a few things available through a free pdf download.
