okay, so i admit this is really only a book for either a true beatles fanatic or someone involved in the technical end of the recording industry. it's not that this is a dry book, in fact, it is written in a very lively style and i'm getting a lot out of it. even so, it is about the recording of the beatles' music, their songwriting, etc, and not really about their lives. at the moment, though, this is just perfect as i am sucking up their music and hearing about the process involved in crafting these songs is making me listen to them in an entirely new way.
