really, i could do a tremendous, negative, woe-is-me rant right here. but i won’t.

instead, i’ll say that my lack of presence lately will continue for the foreseeable future. much is shifting in my little world and unless i have something productive to say, i’ll just keep mum. as soon as things settle, i’ll tell the story.

there’s nothing life-threatening or majorly life-altering, btw. just a ton of little to medium sized things.

but nevermind all that. i shall now hold forth with positive things in my life today:

the diddle birds. we have a flock of sparrows that hangs out in front of my studio window. there’s one bush that they practically live on all winter, once the leaves drop. so noisy and busy!

the turkeys. we’ve a flock of wild birds that wander the neighborhood. they just rock.

sunshine. after yesterday’s gloomy, damp weather it’s lovely to see bright sky and sun today.

good brakes. henson got his brakes resurfaced on saturday and no longer shimmies and shakes every time i make a stop. this makes driving a true pleasure again.
