we went back to wild west city again this year and had a lovely time. (i’ll refer you back to my post from last year)

the animals were the favorite thing this time around. chickens, goats, sheep, a funny, grunting piggie and the world’s sweetest cow. his name is buddy.

and the horses. oh the horses! such wonderful, wonderful horses. at this point, my horse-crazy inner 12-year-old pops out. (note my hip cowboy-themed hoodie i’ve had since middle school)

the weather was lovely, high of around 72, nice little breeze. the fall colors are heading towards their peak here and the sky was just the most brilliant blue. it was lovely to step out of regular life for a day and into a romantic version of the old west, cowboys and all.
