yay! i’m 3% done! *blushes*

okay, so i’ve not gotten far, but i’m determined to finish at some point. i’m doing this knit-a-long because i wanted to start on a doctor who scarf and nothing was going to stop me. not even my 9 or 10 other open projects. so there.

i’m working in Vanna’s Choice because i’ve fallen in love with it. it’s currently my favorite cheap yarn. i’m using size 8 bamboo needles and i’ve cast on 40 stitches and doing the 2/3rds size found here. i’m only 5′1″ and i want to be able to actually wear this!

the colors look as close to a match as i could get. i’m using Eggplant, Beige, Honey, Mustard, Brick, Silver Grey and Olive. was going to use Fern, but thankfully saw it in the store before i bought it. it’s much too bright for my tastes. couldn’t afford the last three colors until next paycheck, hence they are missing from the photo.
