my website actually has a splash page. i completely forgot.

i know most folks don’t use them anymore, but i used on in order to make it easier on myself if i decided to remove or move my blog from the site.

anyway, my original thinking was that i could use the splash page as a playspace, putting up different stuff on a fairly regular basis. i forgot. it’s now on my list of fun design things to do.

i’m also now in the process of designing a calling card. it’s weird because, to me, i don’t feel like i have a style. i try to do whatever works for the current project. the translation here is that i don’t know what will work for the client known as me. i’ve got four designs so far and i’m not 100% on any of them.

in other news, we were watching heroes last night when doctor who and sulu from star trek showed up on the screen. christopher eccleston and george takei on heroes?!? omg, i’m so glad i didn’t get spoiled on that!

i am now heartily embarassed. i don’t think i’ve ever felt like such a dork for fangirling before.
