crazy kinds of thoughts today and wishing that i could carry my home computer with me everywhere.

see, i’d like to clean up my itunes library. i’ve got tons and tons of stuff on my hard drive, enough that i’ve really started to lose track of things and there are many songs lost in the cracks and crevices. about twice a year i sit with this problem (watching as it gets more cumbersome each time) and try to find a good, solid, workable solution.

things are exacerbated by the fact that my portable player of choice is not an ipod and won’t play with itunes at all. i also add at least four new albums every month with my emusic account and probably equal to that with other free downloads and such.

don’t get me wrong. this is definitely a blessing. having access to so much music is nothing short of miraculous, but also a bit overwhelming.

so, i think i’ll be rebuilding my library from scratch once again. the beauty of itunes 7 is that i can have multiple libraries, so i don’t have to worry about losing the current one and can revert back to it if i make a mess of things.

yeah. i’m a music geek.

in other news, my ninth doctor toy is coming along pretty well. got his main body finished and about 1/3 of his jacket. it’s turning out easier than i expected, except for all the counting!
