’twas weird seeing a star wars movie with no text crawl at the beginning. honestly, that’s my only complaint of the flick.

i know a lot of people (almost everyone) is trashing this movie, but i thought it was good. anakin was *gasp* kinda likeable. ahsoka was cute without being treacley or annoying. there was plenty of intrigue and story to go around.

yes, it felt like the first episode of the cartoon, which i’m now looking forward to and sad that it doesn’t start until october. the animation was like a video game, but that’s fine with me. the voices were good enough that i was able to let them fade into the background.

all in all, i liked it and am quite glad i went to see it. and you know what? it was just awesome seeing the banthas and jawas and droids and rocket-booster R2 and the old gang on the big screen again.
