yay for vacation! been watching lots of doctor who and it’s younger, adult-themed sibling, torchwood.

also doing an absolute ton of general puttering around. cleaning files, doing bits of design, letting the kitty boys in and out of the porch (you’d think they were dogs!). i’m also making and listening to lots of mixes.

also being generally lazy about it all. if you can’t do that on vacation, when can you?

i have managed to do a couple of things i’ve been trying to get to for months now. a while back there was a post on one of my techie blogs about a desktop wallpaper that would let you organize your icons. it was a great concept, but i wasn’t thrilled with the design. i wanted to do my own version, so i dug in this afternoon and did it. huzzah! and now i’m going to share it with you all! double huzzah!

i’ve set it up so there is a frame for your recycling bin or most vital folder, a place to throw stuff up on a board, and plenty of empty space so the desktop still breathes.
