i’m in the process of doing the ‘24 hour zine thing‘ because i said i was gonna do it.

so far the best part is typing on my royal arrow manual typewriter. his name is ollie, named after oliver queen, the green arrow (royal = queen, arrow = the green arrow, get it?). he’s the best, though i’ve yet to figure out how to compensate for his ‘drift’. as i type, he shifts and wanders on the table until he’s positioned himself on a jaunty angle.

on second thought, that’s exactly what the green arrow would do and it fits him perfectly. forget compensation, i’ll just take him as he comes.

okay. more rambling as we go on. right now i’m having trouble typing correctly as my head is in manual typewriter mode. it’s kinda like driving stick. you’re still moving forward, but the muscles are doing all kinds of different, wacky things.
