really? is it? please say it’s friday. please.
i’m not going to go on a complaining rant here. there’s truly no point. you don’t want to read about it. i won’t want to go back and reread it later. i’m striking this week from the record.
instead, i give you some links i’ve been meaning to blog about for the last couple weeks:
songbird - a lovely little mashup between a web browser and a music player. based on mozilla (it works a lot like firefox, with tabs and extensions and such) it’s a great way to find new music and keep it organized. it’s still in alpha, so it is a tiny buggy (though i’ve not had any problems) and i’ve been following it’s development. it’s got a ton of potential. also, the cutest mascot evar.
digital consumer bill of rights - this is the stuff we should be able to do with the digital stuff we buy. it reads a lot like what we’re allowed to do with the physical stuff we buy and sounds very obvious from a consumer perspective. this is the kind of thing the MPAA is trying to stop us from doing with its DRM and such.
amorphia apparel - some awesome science-geek t-shirts.
tough choices - how making conscious decisions fatigues the brain, or the biology behind why i’m so damn tired this week and have trouble deciding what to make for dinner. truly fascinating.
colourlovers - a website dedicated to color and color palettes. yay for pretty colors!
