it is done. with the exception of some bins for making the interiors of the cabinets easier to navigate, i have successfully revamped my studio. and it so very much rocks, if i do say so myself. as proof, i give you lots of pictures:
before. this was the mess of a space that i did all my creative stuff in. bad feng shui to the max. note the unconstructed shelf boxes there on the floor:
okay. so on wednesday i started off by packing everything up. i had a long day at work and did not have the time to do anything else:
on thursday, i dug in. didn’t start working on stuff until about 8:30, but as i worked i got more excited and my brain started clicking along. ended up crawling into bed at about 2:30 am, but i got so much done! here’s the work-in-progress shots:
got help from the boys as i worked. note chess on the middle shelf:
didn’t do much on friday other than put a bunch of empty boxes in the basement. on saturday i got up and after breakfast and some tai chi to loosen up my muscles, i got back to it and finished the job. i even did some shifting around on my computer desk. here’s the result:
