wow. i’m stunned. wordpress 2.5 is out and i was able to upgrade without a hitch this time! go me! i usually make quite a mess of it but i was extra careful to actually follow the instructions to the letter and low and behold, it worked! huzzah!

i know you can’t tell from here, but the new user interface is way pretty and while i’m still getting used to where things have moved, i can see how it is much better organized. okay, i admit that i now actually want one of those wordpress hoodies. :D

the weekend? it was weird. friday was bear’s birthday and we celebrated in style with a trip to MoMA. damn-o. van gogh’s ‘the starry night’ upclose and personal. it’s always pretty on everyone’s coffee cup, but it’s a bazillion times better in real life.

the rest of the weekend was strange, as i said before. i slept like utter crap both nights and managed to get nothing productive done at all. i did pick up buffy again, about 2/3rds through season six and introduced miss m to firefly. hee-hee.

yesterday continued the strangeness, though i did mange to get some work done on the secret projects and also did a bit of bookbinding.

i’m toying with the idea of making a few books to sell on etsy. dunno if i’ll actually go through with it, but it’s the one artistic thing i do that i can actually see selling. after all, i only need just so many blank books, ya know? sometimes, though, i just get the urge to do some binding. perhaps if i knew there was a home for them, i wouldn’t hold back waiting for a use for them. i’ll have to think a bit more about that.
