i’ll do a full post when i launch the website, but i just had to write about my newest journal. handbound by yours truly! wheeee!!!

it’s 16 signatures (256 pages) of newsprint that i sliced up myself, folded and bound with waxed embroidery thread. coptic stitching is tedious, but oh so pretty.

the covers are comic backing boards covered in scrapbooking paper and it’s got a nice elastic around it to keep it closed.

and almost forgot, it’s 6×9 inches. just the right size to fit in my bag.

i plan on taking it with me everywhere and sketching. i just need to get a little pencil case and i’m ready to go.
