it’s about 4pm here. only eight more hours to go until writing starts. it’s really starting to sink in now that i’ll be writing 50k in the next 30 days.

i’ve not been writing anything at all (other than blog entries) for a good couple of weeks. shit, i hope i remember how to do this! *chuckles*

my employer has fed me some very yummy pizza, a chocolate-iced chocolate donut (with halloween sprinkles!) and a severed thumb (of the gummy variety). i’m now wired and ready to rock. as if the anticipation alone wasn’t enough!

i’ve got a destination.
i’ve got characters.
my outline is sketchy, but serviceable.
i’ve got tea to sip.
my writing nooks are ready to roll.
my backup system is in place.
so is my tracking system.
