omg! i just read the first nanowrimo email of the season. the official site will be shutting down on monday so they can clean things up for the start up in october. yippee! that means nano is on it’s way.

i got a little jolt of excitment reading the email about the neat things they have planned. october is only a week away and i’m ready to write.

i’ve been thinking that i’ll be keeping the planning to a minimum this year, just winging it, despite wanting to do some interesting things with the format. we’ll see though, because i’m sure that i’ll just get too excited to keep everything in and if i don’t play with the story or characters and such then i’ll just end up writing it before november 1st. :P
