not sure exactly when you’ll all be seeing this post as blogger is being very tichy. i just wish the blogger team would post something somewhere when stuff like this goes on just so the users don’t sit here going ‘do they even know there’s a problem?’ *sigh*

so, when this does get up there, you’ll notice the Halloween theme for the icons this week. i decided to do it for the whole week, despite the fact that the holiday is actually tomorrow. probably shoulda done it last week and clocks this week, but oh well.

i’m anxiously awaiting the start of nanowrimo, as if you didn’t know. my fingers and brain are all itchy with excitement. to prevent spontaneous combustion i wrote up an article for the zine yesterday and started transcribing a short story i recorded with audacity a while back. it was just flowing too quickly to write it down so now i have to sit with the mp3 and transcribe my ramblings. at least it kept my mind off the novel for a bit.

i watched another Neil Gaiman interviewy thing. he talked a bit more about craft in this one, but it was neat nonetheless. it was interesting to hear that he does not outline as he feels a book looses some of its fire and desirablility, from a writing standpoint. i understand what he means which is why i haven’t outlined.
