just got the urge today to throw up a little Halloween fun. we were commenting last night that it’s nice to see so many people getting into the holiday lately. no, it’s not Samhain, it’s still the secular holiday, but it feels a bit more like it used to during my childhood.

lots of decorations, kids in costumes, trick or treating, the whole shebang. it feels like there is a bit of a reclaiming going on after all the hoopla a few years ago over whether kids should be allowed the parties and costume parades at school and such.

so in honor of the renewed holiday spirit i whipped up a little graphic here for the homepage. i’ll probably leave it up for the week since i’m just getting it up here now. i think i’m also going to do a Halloween icon theme, just because i feel in the spirit. (pun intended.)
