craziness on the rails today. some kind of weird power outage means i came in through Hoboken and i’m going home the same way. not really a fun thing, but sometimes it’s good to shake up the routine a bit. it made me cranky anyway and i’m not sure where to get the PATH. ugh.
looking forward to a long weekend that starts early tomorrow. i’m hoping it will be quieter than last weekend, not that i didn’t have fun, but there was just a bit too much running around.
i finished reading Primary Inversion by Catherine Asaro. I liked it quite a bit. It read pretty quickly and had some interesting physics/faster than light travel concepts in it. and just enough romance to keep it from being too hardcore.
i may read Dune until i can get the next book in the series. or perhaps i’ll finally tackle Narnia. decisions, decisions. what a blessing to have so many choices of books to read.
eek! which reminds me i took some stuff out of the library and haven’t even cracked them open yet! Chaucer, Pyle and Mallory are calling from that bag in the corner of my studio. i’ll at least glance through them before returning them. the great thing about the library is that i can always take them out again. oh yeah, i could just renew them right now as well.
off to the trains! bu-bye!
