buzz. buzz. buzz.
that’s the sound in my brain right now. telling the family about my new top secret project has got me thinking about it more seriously. their support for the idea boosts my confidence and i’m now entering into the planning stages. sorry to be so mysterious about it, but if it doesn’t pan out, i don’t want to disappoint anyone.
i’m also trying to find a good method for working with the characters that currently live in my little story snippets that i’ve scribbled over the last few months. i still have yet to find a way to get my thoughts out in some kind of efficient and easy to organize manner. perhaps i’m taking the wrong tack with that. maybe it’s supposed to be all mishmashed and only come together when the story starts to flow. hmm. i’ll have to think on that.
a productive and pleasant weekend was had by all. website work got done (not mine for a change), grocery shopping was completed (huzzah! bounty!) and there was lots of Star Trek: TNG watching. The later, sadly, is being cut short of it’s fun quotient as the G4 station decided that cutting out the climactic scene of every episode in favor of extra commercials was a brilliant plan. this prompted a couple of heated, completely geeky emails to the station. i found that SpikeTV is also playing it. i’ll see if they’re any more respectful of the work. grr.
