i am a lucky girl. i’ve got a great house, wonderful family blessed with fuzzy boys, and an understanding boss.
last night i had a bit of a shock when i found out that my back is currently in worse condition than i could have imagined. the best good news is that it is fixable with lots of chiropractic treatment. also good news is that my insurance is covering lots of it and my boss told me to take care of what needs to be done and not to worry, i can easily leave early to get my treatments.
i admit to being a bit intimidated by the length of time and commitment required of me in order to have a successful healing process. but i guess i can keep reminding myself of two things. one is those x-rays, ouch. second is, what would my alternative be? don’t fix it and doom myself to a life of pain? nope, that is not an option.
i have hopes that when all is said and done, i’ll actually feel better than i can ever remember feeling and with maintainence and hard work, i’ll never have to hurt like this again.
