hmm…

this thing seems to still be up and working. there’s been this journaling/writing vibe going on lately and i thought i might take advantage of it. i’ve forgotten exactly why i started this blog. perhaps it was a way to work on my writing skills? yes, i think that was it. funny, i’ve come back around to that. there is currently a novel/screenplay running around in my head as well as an adapted screenplay.

i watched way too many trailers this evening. in all of that i found inspiration. i found that special effects movies and fantasy films still suck me in like nobody’s business. best of all, i discovered that all the stories have not been written and that there is still room for mine to be told.

the lord of the rings is still holding sway over my imagination. professor tolkien’s life’s work (as well as peter jackson’s oscar-winning masterpiece) has sucked me in and isn’t letting go anytime soon. take this upcoming project for example.

life is changing quite rapidly. i hope to keep up. i’ve got a vacation coming in may. i hope i can make the most of it.
