So. Rolling Stone magazine came out with its 500 greatest albums of all time list. Usually, these lists build me up and then drop me flat with their choice for the top 10. Surprise, surprise, they picked things “right”! This led me to rhino.com, purveyors of all things retro who have the exclusives on the list and sound samples for everything! So in listening to Etta James’ “At Last” I thought of the new Cyndi Lauper version which led me to launch.com. There I found an exclusive of Jason Mraz doing “The Rainbow Connection” from “The Muppet Movie” which brought me back to Jim Henson, one of my heros which brings me to Dave McKean, another hero who’s doing a Henson produced movie written by Neil Gaiman, friend of Tori Amos bringing me back to listening to great music! Whew!

Go check out some great music today! Explore and listen to some new stuff you’ve always wondered about. Doesn’t even matter if you like it or not (okay, I still don’t get the Velvet Underground). It’s good to have an opinion about it and sometimes you stumble across somebody new!
