There are a ton of important things going on today in my life. An important meeting, the boys going to the vet, St. Patrick’s Day, and, oh yeah, impending war.
I heard the stock market jumped 118 points in response to a prediction that the war will be short. Whatever.
I did one of the most important things I’ve ever done last night. I went to a candlelight vigil for peace. It was lovely, and wholely uneventful (no hecklers). There were people there from every age group and walk of life. It had a big community vibe and it was wonderful knowing that it was taking place all over the world. Go to www.globalvigil.com and check it out. I also encourage you to stop by www.votenowar.org. If your feeling really inspired, send an email to the White House and let the shrub know what you think: president@whitehouse.gov
I realize this all may seem very hopeless and such a small action compared to what some people have done, but if everyone in the whole world did as much as I did last night, I believe it would make a huge difference.
peace.
