I had an absolutely lovely birthday yesterday! It was relaxing and everything went smoothly. Bear and I walked around Princeton, went to the university bookstore where I got inspired by all the German literature available, wandered the campus, went to some of the shops in town, ate pancakes at PJ’s (don’t get the buckwheat ones!), got some cd’s at the Princeton Record Exchange, checked out Pins & Needles (a quilting & knitting store) and then went grocery shopping. In the evening I opened up a pile of wonderful gifts that will entertain me for a long time to come. I love them all. We were supposed to go to Chili’s for dinner, but I wanted to stay home and put a new cd shelf together so we got some wonderful chinese take-out instead. Watched the end of the Yankee game, the episode of Enterprise we taped earlier and went to bed very happy!!!

By the way, 27 feels just the same as 26 did. It will be interesting to see where the next year takes me!
